A yes/no question : evet/hayır cevaplarının
verilebileceği soru türü
A: Does he work in Istanbul?
B: Yes, he does. OR No, he doesn't.

An information question: ne, nerede , nezaman gibi
direkt bilgi almak için sorulan soru türürdür.
A: Where does he work?
B: In Istanbul.
Question word order = (Question word} + helping verb
+ subject + main verb

(SORU SÖZCÜĞÜ) + YARDIMCI FİİL + ÖZNE + ANA
FİİL + (CÜMLENİN GERİ KALAN KISMI)

(a) Does she work there? Simple present Tense de
soru türetmek içim do ( I,You;we,They için) & does (
he-she-it için) fiillerin yalın halleriyle (verb 1)
kulanılır. Bu yardımcı fiiller action verb leri
soruya dönüştürmek için kullanılırlar.

Simple past tense de ise aynı mantıkta soru yapan
yardımcı fiildir.

(b) Where does she work?
(c) Do they work there?
(d) Where do they work?

e) Did he work there?


(f) Where did he work?


(g) Is he living there? Cümlede zaten bri yardımcı
fiil varsa, aynı yardımcı fiil soru yapmak için de
kulanılır.

Eğer birden fazla yardımcı fiill varsa, ana yardımcı
fiil soru yapmak için cümle başına getirilir.

(k) Can Mary work
there?
(l) Where can Mary work?

(m) Will he be living there?
(n) Where will he be living?

(o)Who   works there? Eğer belirli bir özne yoksa
vya sorunun öznesi soru sözcüğü ise, yardımcı fiil
kullanmadan, soru sözcüğü + çekimli fiil Getirilir.

Statement: Jack came.
Question: Who came?
(p)Who can  come?
(q) Are they  there? Verb be sour yapılarında her
zaman Sujectin önüne geçer
(r) Where are they? 

için sorulur. Subjecti bulamk için kulalnılır.

We do. Who ne olursa olsun daime tekil fiille takip
edilir.

Whom nesneyi ,olaydan etkilenen kişiyi saptamak için
kullanılır.
Who aynı zamanda Whom olarak kulalnılabilir, ancak:

Who + verb = kim
Whom + auxiliary = kimi

It's mine.. Whose sahiplik sormak veya ait olma
drurumlarını sormak için kullanılır.

kullanılır.

seçim yapmak için kullanılır

TAG QUESTIONS - DOĞRULAMA SORULARI
A tag question tipi karşı taraftan onay almak için
sorulan ve cümlenin sonuna uygun yardımcı fiili
getirerek yapılır.

a) Jack is here, isn’t he ?
b) Jack is sleeping , isn’t he ?
c) Jack studies law, doesn’t he ?
d) Jack will come, won’ he ?
e) Jack is going to sleep , isn’t he?
f) Jack watched TV, didn’t he?

Olumlu Cümleler sonlarına olumsuz soru alır..
